For properties with 3-phase electricity, we recommend a specific charging point.
Can you own an electric car without a home charger?
Yes, though you’ll find charging your car to be much less efficient, both in terms of time and money. To get the best value for money and to provide your car with the right amount of charge for long-term optimum performance is with a dedicated EV charging point. It’s possible to run a charging cable from a domestic pin – plug socket, but you’ll find charging times are much longer, and you run the risk of damaging your home circuitry. You could also charge your car at a commercial charging point, but that could be long, costly, and you can’t guarantee availability
